Please find the details regarding the ISD Board Election happening in September 2023:
- Membership deadline: June 30th, 10 PM (Please make sure you fill out the membership registration form provided at the mosque.)
- Nomination period: July 7th – July 21st.
- Campaign period: Until the Elections.
- Election/Voting: September 15th, 6 AM – September 17th, 10 PM.
- Announcement of New Board Members: September 22nd, after Jumu’ah Prayer.
- New Board take over: October 1st, after Fajr Prayer.
Points to remember:
- If you are nominating someone, please inform him/her and make sure they accept your nomination.
- If you want to be nominated, you should have at least 2 nominees for yourself.
- If you are nominated, please send the election committee at least 5 reasons why you want this position and if you have the competencies to work with others as a team.
