JUMMAH ANNOUNCEMENT:
The Islamic Society of Denton has decided that Jummah, Friday prayer, is cancelled for the foreseeable future. As the situation is changing rapidly, we are monitoring the risk of COVID-19 in our community and will re-open prayers once we feel risks have abated.
The normal five prayers are still offered during the day, but congregants are advised to stay home. If you want to pray at the mosque, we ask that you:
- Bring your own prayer mat to reduce contact with the floor.
- Keep at least 6 feet from others when praying
- Once prayer has concluded, do not linger at the mosque. We are trying to minimize traffic in a communal space.
